Allotments have become increasingly popular in recent years. And the lucky owners of such a piece of land could not believe their (garden) luck this past corona year. Because while rooting in the earth and sniffing at the flowers and home-grown vegetables, that relaxed, blissful feeling comes over you like a magnet.

The time that the allotment garden mainly attracted an older target group is really over, the gardens have become a nice getaway for all ages. From young families to city people who in their spare time like to look for peace and quiet and greenery. It is actually a place of pleasure and refuge in one. But know this: sitting back is usually short-lived, because on an allotment you have to work. Of course in your own garden, but often there are also compulsory gardening duties to keep the communal greenery up to date.
